Shipman is an experienced business executive and entrepeneur who has joined Oak Capital Advisors, assisting with business brokerage, and North Wake Commercial Realty, has a commercial real estate broker. Shipman began his career in a family-owned and operated business that instilled a strong work ethic and taught him to focus on client service and success. From there he joined Car Quest Auto Parts, entering a corporate environment where he was able to serve clients across all 50 states. Responsible for new market development and for building a North American Division, Shipman assisted in adding the largest single account ever added to the brand and growing the corporation from a $280 Million business into a $3 Billion business that was ultimately acquired by a Fortune 500 Company.
Shipman’s expertise includes B2B Sales and Sales Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, and significant P&L Management. Additionally, Shipman has owned and operated 3 different small businesses, and understands the management and cash flow issues a small business owner encounters. As owner of these businesses, Shipman has negotiated numerous commercial real estate and brokerage transactions. With Oak Capital Advisors, Shipman will actively support business brokerage and associated real estate transactions.
Shipman and his family have resided in the Wake Forest area for over 20 years and have actively supported and participated in various community activiities, including the Rotary Club of Wake Forest and youth sports.
