Tom Arndt, BME, MBA, ABI, MBA, CRE

Tom is a C-Level executive and entrepreneur whose business experience ranges from leading successful multi-million dollar acquisitions to purchasing a mid-market business to increasing sales and improving profitability of public and privately-held businesses.   Tom is skilled at increasing revenue through both organic growth and acquisition, and improving profitability through operations process improvement and lean manufacturing implementation.

Tom is a graduate of Kettering University (formerly General Motors Institute) where he earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and the University of Michigan, where he received his Masters in Business Administration.   He has served on multiple corporate Board of Directors, the Board of Directors on Toyota Georgetown's supplier development group, as President of two joint ventures with Japanese manufacturing firms, and as an advisor to Purdue University.   He has a reputation for strong leadership, dedication, integrity, and confidentiality.

Tom's mergers and acquisition experience ranges from personally acquiring a mid-market company to leading the acquisition in both CEO and CFO roles of companies ranging from $10 Million to $160 Million in purchase price.     Companies involved were both domestic and international, and in a variety of verticals.

Tom's operations management experience includes President, Vibration Control Division and VP GenCorp (formerly General Tire Inc), Executive Vice President Automotive of Giddings and Lewis, President and CEO of Bridgeport Machine Tool, President and CEO of Bijur Delimon Lubrication, VP North American Inserting Operations of Bowe Bell + Howell, and COO, Abutec Inc.  Tom's experience also includes Controller, Coated Abrasives Division of Carborundum, and VP Controller of GenCorp Automotive, a $550 Million segment of GenCorp.

Tom and his family have lived in the Raleigh area for 20 years after moving throughout the midwest and northeast.  He has assisted multiple entrepreneurs with launching new businesses.  One memorable assignment was assisting Zac Brown of the Zac Brown Band and his company, Southern Ground.  You may find Tom playing golf or supporting his grandchildren in youth sports.
